La guida · The guide · N° 01
The bedroom, for people who sleep lightly.
A useful bedroom purifier must clean enough air at the speed you can tolerate overnight. Marketing coverage often uses one or two air changes an hour; for allergy control, we model closer to five.
What we look for
- Published smoke CADR matched to the room volume
- Low-speed sound data—not only a vague “sleep mode”
- Filter cost and availability over three years
- No mandatory app or bright status light beside the bed
For a 215 ft² (20 m²) room, our starting specification is a smoke CADR of at least 145 CFM: two-thirds of the floor area, which matches five air changes an hour under an 8 ft ceiling. We currently analyze published specifications, independent laboratory data where available, and recurring patterns in verified owner reports. We do not yet claim hands-on testing.
